A short representation of my time in Masaka, Uganda. There were many more beautiful moments I wasn't able to capture. Being lifted in the air by the Children of Christ Street Children; hosting a free outdoor cinema; playing soccer with the kids. But thanks to the many donations I was able to aid the lives of many. Thank you to all involved. We are currently starting the organisation Gayaza Action Program or GAP Uganda. For anyone else keen to do volunteer work, keep an eye out!

A man crowned the ugliest man in Uganda has become a dad for the eighth time. Godfrey Baguma, known as Sebabi - which means 'ugliest of them all' - suffers from a rare medical condition giving him his distinctive looks. The 47-year-old married his second wife Kate Namanda, 30, in 2013. Since then the couple have had six kids - two of Sebabi's nippers come from his first marriage which broke up some years ago. Continue... Speaking to KFM, he said: . “I caught her cheating with another man and I assured her our relationship was over. “She liked me because of my money, but people kept telling her that she could do better, so she started eloping with another man.” Sebabi then met Namanda, who was 18 at the time, through his aunt who played go between. He said: “I stayed with her four years...

Hi, I’m Chloe, and here’s a short Vlog I’ve done for the COINS Foundation & Habitat for Humanity Great Britain. It’s just a few minutes of me outlining my first time in Uganda: first experience and impressions of the country, its modernity, wealth and poverty. I was lucky enough to join the film crew this February on a two week trip. We visited a rural secondary school with the non-profit organisation PEAS and installed solar power, which was part of a COINS Foundation project. We also worked with the international development and housing charity Habitat for Humanity. Together with their team we visited five different families who are taking out small micro finance loans to improve their homes, and gradually bring themselves out of poverty. Former head of the Internal Security Organisation, Lt Gen Henry Tumukunde says it is time Uganda had a President from another part of the country other than the western region. In an exclusive interview with NTV, Gen. Tumukunde who retired from the Army on Monday after a 14-year wait says current politics dictate that somebody from another region should hold the highest office in the land. President Yoweri Museveni, who is from the west, has reigned for nearly 30 years. But Tumukunde, a former Chief of Military Intelligence cautions that this change must be well managed so that the country doesn’t go up up in flames. In the one on one with Sheila Nduhukire, Gen. Tumukunde also spoke out on his fallout with President Museveni, the Museveni-Mbabazi fallout and his 34 years in the army. Subsc...

On August 12, 2008 I had the opportunity to go to Uganda, Africa to volunteer for the United Nations and the Maendeleo Foundation. At the time I was 16 years old unaware of what the other side of the world looks like. For this reason, I purchased a camera and let Uganda show me their story. "Once Upon a Time in Uganda" is a documentary of my experience in Uganda. I hope you enjoy the documentary and take a moment in your day to truly be grateful for all the great things that you have. .Stay Fruitful - PeeJ Productions
KONY 2012 is government propaganda and a mere excuse to send troops into Uganda to achieve their recently discovered natural resources. Kony hasn't been in Uganda for years, that he is been in Sudan the last few years. The Kony 2012 project will use child soldiers as an excuse for their own adgenda, they may well just as be guilty as Kony in their exploitation of these children, these children of Africa have been used for decades as child soldiers, where was the help for them then.
